Registration Fee Waivers
Travel Grants

1. An applicant must be employed by or a graduate student at a university or educational institution in continental Africa. All disciplines will be considered.

2. An applicant must file a formal request for support with: Dr. Anita Spring, IAABD conference chair, iaabd2008@ufic.ufl.edu

3. The request should include:
   1. A cover letter stating the track and title of the paper submitted along with complete contact information.
   2. A current curriculum vita or resume for the applicant.

4. Recipients must satisfy all US visa requirements. A letter of invitation will be sent to recipients for use in obtaining visas.

5. Hotel and Airfare are not included.

1. An applicant must be fully employed by a university or comparable educational institution in continental Africa. All disciplines will be considered.

2. An applicant must file a formal request for support with Professor W. Robert Knechel, Director, International Center for Research in Accounting and Auditing. Requests should be sent by email to: Kathy.Murphy@cba.ufl.edu

3. The application should include:
   1. Formal request for support including estimated actual travel costs.
   2. A current curriculum vita or resume for the applicant.

4. Recipients must satisfy all US visa requirements. A letter of invitation will be sent to recipients for use in obtaining visas.

5. Allowable expenses include airfare, hotel costs and incidental ground transportation. Conference registration (including breakfasts, lunches and receptions) may be included in the grant request. Additional meals are not covered by the grant. Recipients can have their hotel and registration paid directly from the grant. Airfare and incidental travel costs will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts.
