Academic and Professional Wrinting Writing for Graduate Students and Faculty

Responding to the pressure to the pressure on facutly and students at all levels to produce professional quality and publishable research, the Dial Center offers a variety of workshops and develops seminars tailored to the needs of specific programs and departments.

In collaboration with the University Writing Program, in 2008-2009 the Dial Center offering workshops and seminars focusing on the needs of UF's Graduate srudents and others interested in an introduction to academic and professional writing.  All UF students and faculty are invited to participate!

The Series will include:

  • How to Write a Research Proposal
  • How to Write a Journal Article
  • How to Write a Thesis/Dissertation
  • STM (Scientific, Technical, and Medical) Publishing

Cancellation Policy:  For refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event in writing to tjohnson@dce.ufl.edu.
