College of Pharmacy National Advisory Board Sep. 8-9, 2006

Letter of Invitation

Dear National Advisory Board member,

I would like to invite you to our next National Advisory Board meeting September 8-9 in Gainesville, Florida. To kick off the meeting we will have Jeremy Foley, UF’s Athletic Director, talk about the amazing year we’ve had in basketball and what we can expect for this football season.

During the meeting, we will discuss the college’s accomplishments over the past 10 years and explore the needs for the next ten years. To help in this process we will be providing a Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI) session which is a tool to encourage problem solving and creativity among team members. We will then form discussion groups on Saturday to focus on 2-3 topics that the Board feels should be explored with the goal being to create a plan of action for future growth. In addition, we will spend an hour hearing about the research highlights from our newer faculty members.

The game against UCF kicks off at 6pm and we have a limited number of complimentary tickets available for our Board member.
