Welcome and Preliminary Schedule

Florida CURED and Science Commons invite you to a town hall meeting on Open Innovation in Biomedical Research. This highly interactive event will help you gain an understanding of how open innovation can be a competitive advantage for Florida scientists and research institutions in the highly competitive funding arena, while answering your questions about the legal and technical aspects of protecting intellectual property rights.

Additionally, posters to share biomedical research being funded by the state of Florida through the James and Esther King Biomedical Research and Bankhead-Coley Cancer Research Programs will be displayed.

This event will be held Friday June 27 at the Florida International University Kovens Conference Center in Miami, Florida.
