Shelter Medicine Conference

General Information

REGISTRATION: Includes all educational materials and lunch. Conference check-in begins at 7:30am. The conference begins at 8:15am and concludes at 5:30 pm.

If you register by October 9, 2009 you will receive the early registration rate of $120. After October 9, 2009 the registration rate will be $140.

CE CREDIT: Both Veterinarians and Certified Veterinary Technicians can receive CE credit for 14 Contact Hours or 1.4 CEU's.

LOCATION: The conference will be held at the Paramount Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. 2900 SW 13th St. Gainesville, FL 32608. A detailed map and written instructions will be sent to you upon registration.

LODGING: A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Paramount Hotel for participants requiring overnight accommodations. Please contact the hotel directly at (352) 377-4000 by September 23, 2009 and mention the Shelter Medicine Program to receive a reduced rate of $92 a night. When making reservations, please make note of the hotels cancellation policies.

Alternate Lodging Options - Please refer to the Visit Gainesville website for information on alternate hotels for lodging purposes.

CANCELLATION: Registration fees paid, less a $30 administration fee, will be refunded upon a written request received by October 14, 2009. After October 14th, refunds will not be made, but substitutions will be permitted.
