General Information
Course Objectives:
This course is designed to demonstrate the techniques for the documentation for forensic evidence from a crime scene involving a shooting. Methods to determine distance and trajectory will be demonstrated, as well as proper photographic documentation of the shooting scene.
Conference Style
Presentations will be lecture style and designed to provide information about the most common types of forensic evidence located at scenes of animal cruelty resulting in the death of the animal.
CEU Credit:
Continuing Veterinary Medical Education Credits will be provided. Additionally, CEU's will be awarded for all attendees to this program.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing by mail, fax or email. Registration fees less $40 will be refunded upon receipt of written request by September 3, 2009. No refunds after September 4, 2009. Refund requests made after that time will not be honored, and the participant or sponsoring organization will be responsible for the fee. Refunds must be made in writing to Tamara Johnson at tjohnson@dce.ufl.edu for questions regarding registration you can contact her by phone at 352-392-1701 ext.239. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.
The University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, the university will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
