Letter of Invitation
The University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center's Ninth Annual Veterinary Receptionist Training Day "It's What's Up Front That Counts" will be held September 26, 2009 here in Gainesville. We are committed to provide the best possible service to you and your clients, and this event represents part of our continuing outreach to our colleagues in the veterinary community. Last year we welcomed nearly 200 receptionists from all over Florida to the program and we hope for an even bigger turnout this year.
We recognize the importance of the receptionist to the success of a practice. By offering these programs, we hope not only to provide a service to you, your staff and your clients but also to enhance your staff's awareness of the VMC and what we have to offer. At the end of the day we will offer a tour of both the small and large animal hospitals to let your staff members see for themselves a little of what we are about. Dr. Mark Crootof has developed a seminar series directed toward taking practices to their next level.
I am confident that your staff will not be disappointed. The modest registration fee covers only the cost of lunch, promotion and registration. The cost of bringing Dr. Crootof to Gainesville has been borne by an educational grant from Nestle Purina and Fort Dodge Animal Health.
I look forward to welcoming your staff members to Gainesville in September, and feel sure that both you and they will again benefit from this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Colin F. Burrows, BVetMed, PhD, HonFRCVS, Dip ACVIM
