Important Resources

National Weather Service – get up to date weather, water, and climate data, along with weather forecasts and warnings.

State Department – your resource for information on traveling abroad, including current travel warning, Visas, currency exchange rates, and more.

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) – STEP is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

University of Florida Emergency Management – emergency preparedness information for the University including but not limited to, bomb threats, building fire/evacuation, active shooter situations, medical emergencies and weather.

For University of Florida students, faculty and staff:

University of Florida Online Travel Registration – A DDD issued by the Provost, requires students, faculty and staff who are traveling abroad to register all UF business related international travel with the UF International Center. Please see the link for more information and to register your travel.
